• Hillcrest Annual Campaign Sets New Record 06/10/2011
Hillcrest Educational Centers announced that its 2011 Annual Campaign Fund Drive has raised a record $115,000, a fifteen percent increase over the previous year.
Exceeding the campaign goal of $100,000 - funds donated to the Annual Campaign will support a number of new and existing unfunded Hillcrest initiatives, including providing resources to support Hillcrest's rapidly growing work with children and adolescents affected by Autism.
The staff of Hillcrest Educational Centers kicked off the agency's 2011 Annual Campaign fund drive by pledging over $47,000 last December. This record amount pledged by staff marks the fourth consecutive year that Hillcrest staff have pledged over $40,000 to the annual fund drive.
Hillcrest President Gerard Burke said, "We are extremely proud of our employees at Hillcrest who dedicate their time, talent and financial support for our kids. Their passion speaks to the belief in the work we do here at Hillcrest.? Each and every person is to be commended for their generous support, especially during tough economic times."
Burke said, "The support from the community grew this year by almost 40%. We are grateful that each year, more and more people are appreciating just how special and important an agency Hillcrest is to the Berkshires." He added, "Hillcrest has been changing the lives of the most fragile children for over 25 years and with the support we receive through this campaign, we will continue to bring hope to the future of the children who need us."
