• David Grover to Perform at HillcrestFest 05/12/2011
Hillcrest Educational Centers announced plans for a free community fun fair for kids and families in honor of Hillcrest's 25th Anniversary. HillcrestFest will be held Saturday, May 21 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Hillcrest Educational Centers' administrative offices located at 788 South Street in Pittsfield.
Hillcrest President Gerard Burke said, "We are so grateful for the support of the community over the past 25 years, we wanted to show our appreciation in some small way. We are thrilled to offer a free family day to thank Berkshire County for 25 years of support."
The day will be filled with fun for the entire family, rain or shine. Nationally renowned artist David Grover and Grover's Gang will be the featured act. Other performances will be by Bowie the Clown and the Hillcrest Drumming Group. There will be bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, spin art and a digital photo booth, all of which are free of charge. Hot dogs, hamburgers, beverages and ice cream will be available for purchase.
Burke added, "We hope this will be a great opportunity to celebrate our local community and Hillcrest's 25 years of service."
Limited parking will be available next door at 780 South Street. Additional parking is available at Berkshire Life's parking lot on South Street, less than one mile from Hillcrest Educational Centers' administrative offices. Continuous shuttle service will be provided throughout the day.
