• HEC hosts a “Zumbathon” to support Breast Cancer Initiatives 10/07/2010
Hillcrest Educational Centers we will be hosting a “Zumbathon” to raise awareness and money to fight Breast Cancer. This event will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Center Campus Gymnasium on 349 Old Stockbridge Road in Lenox. Hillcrest President Gerard Burke said, “Hillcrest’s commitment to serving and supporting the needs of others extends beyond the work we do every day. Hillcrest has developed a strong culture of supporting numerous local efforts to help others. This is a prime example of how the staff likes to have fun while giving back to our community.”
Certified Zumba Instructors, Regine Ladeinde and Jenna Grelle Laramee, have generously donated their time as instructors for the event. Tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased at the Hillcrest Educational Centers administrative offices on 788 South Street, Pittsfield, or by calling (413) 499-7924, ext. 144. Hillcrest Educational Centers is donating100% of the proceeds to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Organization. This event is open to the public and “Zumbathoners” are welcome to come for the full three-hours or for any part of the event. All participants will receive a Zumba Breast Cancer Awareness bracelet, will be entered into drawings for door prizes and can enjoy free refreshments.
