Hillcrest Welcomes New Director of Development and Community Outreach 03/29/2012

Hillcrest Educational Centers is pleased to announce that Sheila Mason has been named as the new Director of Development and Community Outreach. Mason will be working diligently to raise the funds needed to support the mission of Hillcrest, transforming lives by providing therapeutic treatment and special education to children and adolescents with unique psychological and learning needs.

"I'm thrilled to have Sheila on our team. Her knowledge of the community and Berkshire County, along with her outlook and experience makes her a real asset for Hillcrest," said Hillcrest President Gerard Burke.

Mason comes to Hillcrest with twelve years of experience through service at Williams College, most recently with the office of College Relations and Development. She has a bachelor of arts in English, and Public Relations from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams. Mason and her husband Toby reside in Hancock.

"I'm excited to work with Hillcrest's leadership to expand funding for their programs.? They have built a quiet legacy by improving lives through education and comprehensive care whether it's through residential or day programs, psychological services or their dental clinic. It's a mission that has incredible traction with me. I'm also energized to work on the community level once again and discovering opportunities for collaboration."
