Charitable Gift Giving…

     We encourage you to become active in Hillcrest Educational Centers in any way you can. Here are a few examples of how you can help. If you have other skills, talents or ideas please feel free to view our employment opportunities page, or write and share them with us.
     As a 501 (c) (3) not for profit organization, your contributions help maintain the quality of our programs and facilities and are tax deductible. Gifts to Hillcrest Educational Centers help purchase birthday and holiday gifts for our 152 children (90% of whom do not go home for the holidays), improve facilities, support program and staff development and assist in creating other exceptional leadership opportunities for staff and students. Since our beginning in 1985, Hillcrest has become fully JCAHO accredited, a member of CWLA and a leader in the world of residential treatment.

Hillcrest Annual Campaign …

     Annual or One Time donations to Hillcrest Educational Centers provide brighter futures for our students. Show your support in giving a donation that Hillcrest will use for securing future growth and development.

 

Restricted Gifts …

     Generally given for a purpose of special interest by the donor, are additions to the annual operating budget. These gifts provide a margin of excellence in programs, our endowment fund and the capital development of our facilities as well as increased recreational budgets, birthday parties, gym equipment and specialized programs we offer our children.

Memorial / Honoree gifts …

     Hillcrest accepts gifts in honor or in memory of current or past employees, board members, students, staff or volunteers. Many past employees and students of Hillcrest have touched others lives and can be memorialized with a gift in their honor. You may also wish to make a gift in honor of a loved one for Mother's Day, Father's Day, or any holiday.

How Do I Give?

     When making a gift to Hillcrest Educational Centers, checks should be made payable to Hillcrest Educational Centers, Inc. and may be mailed to the Development Department.

Gifts of STOCK… A wonderful way to make an increased gift, avoid capital gains, and receive tax benefits. Highly appreciated stocks offer an easy way to make a larger gift than one may think possible. Contact the Development Department for instructions to make a gift of stock.

BEQUESTS … A memorable contribution to Hillcrest Educational Centers and a loved ones memory as well as a savings on estate taxes. In addition to personal donations you may be able to identify sources of foundation support. Additional details are available on bequests, gift and estate planning; call or write the Development Department.
